Last updated: September 3, 2026

Triple A Lawn and Garden (“AAA Lawn & Garden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through https://aaalawngarden.com (the “Site”) and when you otherwise contact us, request a quote, or use our services, how we use that information, and your rights. We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) may also apply in some circumstances, such as where personal information crosses provincial or national borders.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit our quote request form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Property location (city or postal code, and any address you provide)
  • Property type (residential or strata) and the services you’re interested in
  • Any details you include about your project
  • Optionally, how you heard about us
  • The page you arrived on, the site that linked you here (if any), and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which of our advertising brought you to us

If you contact us by phone or email, we collect the information you choose to share.

We do not ask for, and you should not submit, sensitive information such as payment card numbers or government ID through the Site’s forms.

When you visit the Site, our website host or analytics tools may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Our quote request form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses how the form is used to tell people from automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your request and prepare a quote
  • Contact you about your project and schedule services
  • Communicate with you about work we’re doing or have done
  • Keep records of our customers and inquiries
  • Improve our services and respond to questions
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Use project photos, testimonials, or reviews in our portfolio, website, or marketing materials, where permitted by law and with consent where required
  • Understand which of our advertising, such as a newspaper ad or QR code, brings customers to us

We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, or for purposes you would reasonably consider consistent with that, unless you consent otherwise or the law permits or requires it.

3. Project Photos, Reviews, and Testimonials

We may display photos of completed projects on our Site or in marketing materials. We avoid publishing personal information with project photos, such as customer names, exact addresses, licence plates, faces, or other identifying details, unless we have consent.

Testimonials or reviews displayed on the Site may come from customer feedback or public Google reviews. Reviews sourced from Google are shown as they appear on our Google Business Profile, with the reviewer’s name as displayed there. Where required, we will obtain permission before using a customer’s review, name, photo, or other identifying information in our own marketing materials. If you have left us a Google review and would prefer we not show it on the Site, contact us and we will remove it.

4. Consent

By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us using the details at the bottom of this page. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a quote or services.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site or our business, such as our website hosting provider (which stores the Site and your quote request) and Resend, the email delivery service that sends our notification emails, who are authorized to use it only as needed to provide those services;
  • With Google, which provides the reCAPTCHA spam protection described in Section 1 and the analytics described below;
  • Where required or permitted by law.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. This involves cookies and the collection of usage data such as pages visited, the type of device and browser, general location, and whether a visit led to a phone call or a quote request. Google Analytics does not receive the contents of your quote request. See Google’s privacy policy for details, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The Site does not set cookies of its own for visitors. Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA set their own cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, though the quote request form relies on reCAPTCHA being allowed.

6. Storage and Cross-Border Processing

Your information may be stored or processed by service providers located outside of Canada, including in the United States, where our website hosting and Google’s services operate. Where that’s the case, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure it’s handled appropriately.

7. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access or disclosure. The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and quote requests can only be viewed by our staff after logging in. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain reasonable business records, or as required by law. When it’s no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or anonymize it.

9. Your Rights

Under BC PIPA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Ask questions about how we handle your information.

To make a request, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. Please make access or correction requests in writing and include enough detail for us to identify the information you are asking about. We will respond within 30 days unless an extension is permitted by law. There is no charge for most requests, and we’ll let you know in advance if a minimal cost applies to a more extensive request.

10. Contact / Privacy Officer

If you have questions, concerns, or requests about your personal information or this Policy, contact our Privacy Officer using the details at the bottom of this page.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
